From Here and There..

Some random things from last few weeks-

1. A week's trip to home. I guess, the timing couldn't have been better. Got to be at home for Holi, enjoyed over the B"days of my cousin sister and niece, also had a get-together with many of my school-time buddies. It was really a great feeling to be there. And yes, I also tried my hands on bike for the first time in my life. A nice break, I would say.

2. One thing which I have learnt the hard way is one can't keep everyone happy. I tried doing that, only to make my own life miserable. Sorry guys, no hard feelings.

3. I finished this Aravind Adiga's novel "The White Tiger". I don't really appreciate it and as Gins had told me earlier that it is the worst among the booker prize winning novels, I anyway had less expectations from it. The plight of a poor in India is emphasized beyond reality and there aren't more than couple of takeaways for entrepreneurs.
All said, it actually was a good enough timepass over my journey to home. So, no grudges.

4. I have been playing enough badminton lately and I am just loving it. My game has improved a bit. Thanks to Sachin for those tips!

5. I think, I would also mention about that ~90 mins talk with Arpit. Dude, I appreciate every word of it. Yes, I am yet to think about that long term plan and am still searching for my fortune at the bottom of the Pyramid. :)

6. At office, I have been at a slow pace in my work after returning from vacation. But the good part is, I know it and I am back in mood. This one guy in my team keeps making my life more interesting and challenging. Such a treat to work with people like these. I can say for sure that this is one thing I like most about Nvidia.

7. And yes, These MTV guys are just getting into my head. With this Roadies - Splitsvilla saga all over, I can't help but avoid watching MTV. It is so mean and addicting.
But, I have been following American Idol and Dance India Dance. It was good to listen Anoop Desai sing "Always on my mind" but i want some variety from him. 'Dance India Dance' is the latest favorite. Bad that the Hip hop classes moved to Koramangala just when I wanted to join.

8. Small mention about the changed look of my blog and that lonely road walk at 1:30 a.m. :)

I still think, there were few more but I don't want to trouble my brain to recall them.

Ciao-
Madhusudan.

Found these from the blog of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and he, supposedly, received them through a mail.

Tagged Again!

Shantanu tags me this time and yeah, I didn't take much time to figure out which Shantanu this is! :D
I am already pretty late in responding to this tag (was on a vacation to home). So, let me just get to the questions right away:

1. Pick out a scar you have, and explain how you got it?
Ahh! It reminds me of those school days, I used to be fond of playing cricket. That evening of summer, I was running towards the boundary looking at the sky, eyes right on the ball. And then, Bang! my head collided with the boundary wall, blood over my face and me searching for my specs in the sand. Good, glasses were intact. But I missed the catch and it was a six too!
But little did it matter as match anyways got abandoned and I finally ended up with an impression on my right forehead.

2. What does your phone look like?
A thick piece, annoyed of being under-used and being vibrating silently.

3. What is on the walls of your bedroom?

Apart from the Ganeshji-photo, bulb, tubelight and other obvious stuff, there is this black-colored (no racism here) bsnl broadband wire passing through the rooms' walls to the hall.

4. What is your current desktop picture?
Some usual Vista wallpaper: green pastures covered with blue sky. Actually, my system had crashed sometime back and thereafter, I haven't had the time to personalize all this stuff. No guesses over what was it before the crash! :D

5. Do you believe in gay marriage?

I have read that they do happen. So, whats the deal?

6. What do you want more than anything right now?
Couple more dark hours in a day. So many generations passed by but the number of hours in a day still remains 24. It is just not fair.

7. Are your parents still together?

Of course! Now, from where does this question come from?

8. Last person who made you cry?

I guess, I haven't cried in last couple of decades.
Anyways, it is not worth spending time and brain trying to recall it.

9. What is your favorite perfume/cologne?

While buying some things, you don't look for your favorites but for the price-tag. :)

10. What are you listening to?

My friend talking on cell, sound of rotating fan over my head and a song "Soniyo.. tu de de mera saath.." And just in case you were wondering, this music is not coming out from a music-system. I think if I had to sing a song for someone special, this will be the first one coming to my mind.

11. Do you get scared of the dark?

LOL! Hu-Ha-Ha-Ha...

12. Do you like pain killers?

No, Sad but they don't come in chocolate flavour.

13. Are you too shy to ask someone out?

Now that doesn't need much thinking. A definite yes!
So girls, now you know that you gotta initiate it.. :D

14. If you could eat anything right now, what would it be?

Just finished my dinner. Bring me a dessert: chocolate fudge should be fine!

15. Who was the last person who made you mad?

Me mad... you must be joking! Errr.. Actually, she did it. Ah, how could I forget. I was lost, out of the world and then she started singing that song.. yaa that one.. :(

16. Who was the last person who made you smile?

I smile so frequently. Most of the time, it is not a person who makes me smile but a situation. See, I just spilled my bournvita over my t-shirt smiling over another situation.

17. Is someone in love with you?

I am sure there are many who love and keep wishing and praying for me. Else how will I get all that luck..

Whoa.. I am done. But it was really taxing. Now, its my turn to tag others!!
